Our wonderful 8-year-old boy has recently been granted personal assistance. We want to create the best team around him! Our son has autism, ADHD, and a mild intellectual disability. He is a cheerful, active, and strong-willed boy who enjoys everything that is typically boyish; cars, trains, airplanes, all types of vehicles, playing football, cycling, being outdoors, playing, swimming, and doing practical things.

He can walk and talk by himself but needs a lot of support, motivation, and encouragement before and during various activities. He needs help with impulse control and requires someone to always be by his side as he is creative and imaginative. Practical help with dressing and undressing and assistance during mealtime situations is also part of the job. Our lovely boy can exhibit challenging behavior during transitions but once you become his friend, you have a lifelong idol!

We are looking for someone who is proactive and cheerful and shares our son's interests. You need to have good patience and an inner calm. Experience with neurodevelopmental disorders or working with children is a plus. It is also an advantage if you live in the Täby or Vallentuna area since the parents are separated and reside in these areas. We prefer that you are over 25 years old.

We are looking for personal assistants who can work: a couple of weekday evenings (2.5-hour shifts) per week and sometimes weekends, Saturday or Sunday 4-8 hours/shift.

Other:
* God Assistans cares for its assistants, has a collective agreement, and offers wellness benefits of up to 4000 SEK/year.
* We will want to see a copy of your passport (SV) or residence card (EU) or residence and work permit/LMA card (outside EU).
* According to the law on background checks, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal and suspected offenses register before employment. You can find the form HERE (H%C3%84R). You will order the background check yourself, preferably before the interview.
